Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In April 2020 I will be running 10 marathons, in 10 consecutive days, in 10 different towns and cities across the UK raising money for East Anglian Air Ambulance.
The 10th and final marathon I run will be the London Marathon on Sunday 26th April 2020.
On Friday November 12th 2010, 4 days after my 18th Birthday, I made a life changing decision. I tried to take my own life, by walking straight out in-front of a lorry, at junction 36 of the A14 dual carriage way.
Needless to say, this left me with life threatening injuries and in urgent need of medical treatment. It was the incredible team of doctors and pilots from the East Anglian Air Ambulance that attended to me that evening and air lifted me to Addenbrookes Hospital. I have absolutely no doubt that the East Anglian Air Ambulance saved my life that night and I will forever be so grateful.
I will never be able to fully repay the fantastic men and women for what they did for me that night. However, a small gesture of raising as much money as possible for them and this wonderful charity can ensure they can continue to do the fantastic work that they do and continue saving lives - just like they did mine.
Anything you can give at all would be so gratefully received. Thank you so, so much.
