Story

Im making a stand in the name of someone I love. Im taking part in The Memory Miles Walk on Saturday 3rd October to celebrate the life of my loved one while helping people in Scotland battling chest, heart and stroke conditions. Please sponsor what you can and make the difference between someone being alone and scared with their condition or getting the help they need to get their life back. £20 - Can give someone one hour of vital one-to-one help with a support worker to get back to enjoying life when they come home from hospital. £40 - Would help train a volunteer Kindness Caller to make sure there is always someone at the end of the phone for people who feel isolated and lonely. £50 - Will mean that someone can attend a support group for three months which will help them cope with the emotional and physical impact of their condition. £165 - Will fund three months of support for someone with a chest, heart and stroke condition through our Hospital to Home service.
