Sands launched Challenge15 four years ago, we asked our supporters to challenge the numbers by challenging themselves. Thanks to the amazing efforts made this number has reduced from 15 to 13 and at least 1,065 fewer babies have died.
Whilst this progress is amazing, there is still so much more work to be done. Today in the UK, 13 babies will die before, during or shortly after birth and a further 1 in 4 pregnancies will end in loss.
Every number represents a much wanted and dreamed-of baby and we must continue to challenge the numbers until every family gets to watch their baby grow up.
I will be walking 10 miles everyday with my beautiful rainbow 🌈 baby sylvie our little miracle.
Sands is an amazing charity that supports families who have had to deal with the loss of a child , every penny really will help them to continue to help more and more people.
