We support Birmingham Children's Hospital to improve the lives of sick children

Story

For those that haven’t seen me for a while… my hair has got long…. super long! It’s time for it to go (no I’m not shaving it, just having it cut short!).

Many of you will already know, but when my nephew Jesse was 2 months old he had to have emergency open heart surgery to correct a rare heart condition. The care he was given at Birmingham Children’s Hospital in that initial treatment and his second surgery quite literally saved his life. So I would like to raise some money to support the amazing work they do!

I shall be donating the hair to Little Princess Trust for wigs for children with cancer.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital.
