Legal Aid Society of Eastern Legal Food Frenzy, 1 April 2021
The Virginia Attorney General and Young Lawyers Division of the VBA are excited to kick of the statewide competition and to have the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to ensuring all Virginians have enough food to lead healthy lives.

Story

Thank you for participating in the 15th Annual Legal Food Frenzy! Remember, each donation gets your firm closer to winning the coveted Attorney Generals Cup or one of many awards in categories for sole practitioner, small, medium, and large size firm, and top law school, top government/public interest office, and top corporate legal department.

Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia won locally for most pounds collected per person (408 lbs/pp) in 2019 when the last Food Frenzy was held. This earned us the silver pineapple, a specific award given by the Virginia Peninsula Food Bank, and the award for the small firm in our service area. in 2018, we also won the silver pineapple award. Our goal for the 2021 Legal Food Frenzy is to raise as many donations and collect as much food as possible to help feed the local community (and to keep the silver pineapple at our office!).

With every dollar donated, we are able to provide up to four meals of nutritious food to our neighbors who silently struggle with hunger. Your generosity will transform lives ensuring that no one goes to bed hungry. Together, we can close the case on hunger.

We appreciate all of your help in squashing hunger!
