Hello! Thank you for checking out my fundraising page!

I've never run a marathon before. Probably not what you what to hear when you've (hopefully) come to this page to donate some of your hard-earned cash... In fact, the longest run I've done to date (as I write this in late February 2021) is 13km. So, you'll probably think I'm mad for signing up for this! And you'd be right.

However, I love a challenge, I've got over 6 months to find the stamina for the other 29.2km, and what better reason than running for such a good cause? 

Square Pegs is charity run by my friend, Beth James, and they are an award-winning charity that provide creative opportunities for people with learning disabilities and autism. For full info on the work they do, see the text below or check out their website.

Square Pegs Arts provide opportunities for vulnerable, socially isolated people with learning disabilities and autism to be involved in high quality Arts based groups, projects and performances. This allows people to be engaged in purposeful activity where they can build friendships and feel a real sense of belonging. They use drama, music and creative based methods to build confidence and self-esteem, develop social communication skills and other transferable skills so that everyone can achieve and maintain positive wellbeing and be their best self.
