brighton to eastbourne sponsored walk · 8 September 2018

Story

In September of this year, myself and 15 other girls from TWGGS, my school, are doing a 30 mile walk from Brighton to Eastbourne. Our target is to raise money for Kyabobo girl's school in Nkwanta, Ghana, founded by ex TWGGS teacher, Jill Norris. On our trip to the school  in October of this year, we will be teaching at Kyabobo for several weeks and with the money raised by your kind donations we will be providing resources necessary for the now 350 girls attending the school to be educated.

I share the same belief as my school in that girls all around the world deserve an education. Sadly, in Ghana less than 50% of girls have a high school education. TWGGS, alongside the Ghana Education Project are striving to change this. We are hoping to raise enough money from this Sponsored walk to make this dream become a reality.

Here is a short video explaining why this School and Charity are two incredible organisations to be a part of; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ll_tX2qXyKM
