Story
In January 2022 I was very fortunate to become the first patient at University Hospitals Birmingham to receive a cochlear osia hearing implant. As a musician and professional violinist, gaining all I possibly can, particularly from an ear which is inactive, is incredibly important to me. I am extremely grateful for the care I received from staff at the QEH and Solihull Hospital to enable me to enjoy an increased level of hearing, and enable me to continue on my musical journey with increased hope and optimism.
