Story
What? In June 2016, I am taking part in the National Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund (PCRF.). This involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England & Wales: Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon. I will be walking over 27 miles with a combined elevation of 3,409 metres & ALL within 24 hours (yes I am crazy).
Why? Im doing this challenge in memory of my best friend, teacher & hero - my beloved Dad. The event itself, will start on 18th June with the remaining 10 hours taking place on Fathers Day.
Who? The Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund is dedicated to defeating Pancreatic Research by funding Innovative Research. Pancreatic Cancer has the lowest survival rate of all cancers due to its difficulty to diagnose & treat, because it is unusually aggressive.
Please Donate: I have funded this challenge entirely myself so any donations will go directly to PCRF. Please help me attempt to make a difference and donate generously.
I may not be the slimmest nor the fittest, but I am certainly determined.
