I am the founding CEO of the Snowdrop Project and I see first hand how trafficking devestates lives but also, how the work of the amazing charity team walks with people to turn lives around.

Every day I talk to the team and witness survivors move in to their first home, start university, have the confidence to go on the bus on their own for the first time, be reunited with separated children, learn to use a computer, put grounding techniques in to practice, feel happy for the first time, be believed...the list goes on.  It is a privilege to work for such a wonderful charity and I am committed to make sure it continues to go from strength to strength. To do that, the charity needs income!

Having been in lockdown for the last 18 months, I wanted to get out, to challenge myself, look to new horizons and this fundraiser came up. I couldn't think of a better way to both challenge myself and help the charity and clients that I love and believe in.

I'm not going to lie, I'm slightly petrified. I dislocated my knee in lockdown so this will be a physical challenge and I've never tried to raise this amount before! I'll keep everyone updated with how I'm doing.
