Story
In 11 weeks, Langridge and Larkins will swim the equivalent of the English Channel. You heard me. The battle against muscle spasms, dehydration and severe chlorine discolouration of Izzy’s goldy locks will be taking place in public swimming pools, yes, but the distance will be swum nonetheless. This is how it will go down:
21 miles. 1344 lengths. Meaning 123 lengths per week, for 11 weeks, until February 15th.
Izzy and Rob are not only doing this for the benefit of their own wellbeing (and ego) but are aiming to raise £200 for The Royal National Institute for Deaf People, which has been brilliant in helping Izzy’s grannny adjust to hearing loss.
