Us Lampshaws (Lampards/Hampshaws) are at it again! 

On July 4th we will be taking part in the Mountbatten Hospice Sunflower Walk to raise money for such a fantastic charity, very close to our hearts. 

Our Mum, known as Lissie to most, passed away on the Hospice in May 2018. 

Hospices tend to have a stigma attached to them of being gloomy, depressing places. Mountbatten Hospice couldn’t be further from this picture! There is such a sense of love, care, fun, peace (and the beloved drinks trolley!) flowing through the corridors. It was a place that all of us as a family, including Mum, felt very comfortable being in. 

The  care the Hospice team gave to Mum was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble, 

The care they gave to us as the relatives, was also amazing. They made the imminent death of our Mum, that much easier to cope with. For that, we will always be forever thankful. 

We know it has been a tough year for everyone, but we would be really grateful if you could spare a small donation to help this fantastic Charity.
