Story
Once upon a time, in a coastal town far, far away, an Irish lass called Lara worked for an ambitious English football club.
This football club, apart from having just rightfully returned to the top flight of English football, was heavily engaged in some very nice charity work and the ever charitable Lara was keen to get involved, perhaps to somewhat impress/shock her boss, her friends and her family...or maybe to entice her friends to come down for their favourite Premiership fixtures next season (Note: gifts amounting to brazen bribery NOT accepted...).
With this in mind she decided to sign up for the Zip Wire Challenge to raise money for the club’s charity; Saints Foundation. The challenge involves climbing to the to the top of the stadium, and throwing one’s self clean off it, attached by only a piece of string and some flimsy knicker elastic (safety precautions may be somewhat tighter than described).
In a fit of charitable insanity (and birthday drunkenness), her good friend Lex thought it would be a great idea to join her and they could raise the money together, pulling on the collective charitable nature of their extensive friend networks. However, in his aforementioned moment of charitable insanity, Alex had forgotten that he is, in fact, PANT WETTINGLY SCARED OF HEIGHTS.
So, if you would like to help us help the Saints Foundation raise some much needed readies and watch a video of Alex screaming like a little girl/Lara grinning broadly whilst soaring across St Mary’s pitch, then please give as much as you can to this very noble of causes.
Our sincere thanks in advance,
Lala and Lexi J
