Ten Story Challenge · 29 April 2022 to 30 April 2022 ·

Pace provides young women an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training, and advocacy. Individuals are invited to raise donations in exchange for the experience of going over the edge of the Lakeland Electric Building.

Story

Support Lakeland Electric's managers/supervisors who volunteered to take the Ten Story Challenge by donating today. Let's reach this $2,000 goal together.

Jessica Stanphill, Account Manager, stated she volunteered to rappel because she loves the opportunities that Pace for Girls helps to provide to the young ladies. "It excites me to know we are helping an organization that helps our future generations. I’m super excited to rappel down the building. I think it will be challenging and fun."

Janeane Purvis, Customer Service Supervisor, stated she wants to be part of this challenge because it looks fun. She also wants to let young at-risk girls know that she, too, had a hard life growing up and if she can be successful anyone can. Her belief is "life hands us all challenges and it's how we approach and conquer them that counts."
