Story
Leigh on Sea Striders are proud to have organised numerous charity challenges over the last 20 years and in doing so have raised over £400,000 for some amazing causes.
In June 2022, in the beauty of the Lake District a team of 60 committed people will be taking on our toughest challenge yet. The team will be trekking 100 kilometers including 19,000 feet of ascent and taking in England’s highest - Helvellyn, Scafell Pike and Skiddaw. We do so in the lasting memory of our dear LOSS friend Stephanie Simpson, who tragically lost her life in 2020
The team are inspired to battle through this challenge to raise as much money as possible for Southend Hospital, specifically for the Oncology and stroke services.
The team are hoping to raise £10,000 and welcome any donation no matter how big or small. All donations will go to a very worthwhile charity in what is a very tough time.
Please indicate if your donation is for a certain member of the team or the whole group.
Thank you so much for supporting us and making a difference
