Lake District Hotels Ltd have now match funded £5000, to reach the orginal target goal of a combined total of £10,000. Thank you to everyone who has donated so generously this fundraiser is still open, please continue to donate for this important cause. 

Lake District Hotels Ltd have launched a campaign to raise money for the British Red Cross who are assisting with the rescuse and support of the devasting earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

We will match fund every £1 given with another £1, up to a combined sum of £10,000.

The Directors of the family owned Lake District Hotels, Charles and Kit Graves and Daniella Hope, would like to appeal to our guests, suppliers, employees, families, all of our friends and everybody else to help us raise money for the people in Turkey and Syria affected by the earthquake and the aftermath.

Reports suggest that over 11,000 have been killed as hundreds of buildings collapsed, and many thousands more injured. These figures continue to rise.

Right now, rescuers are racing to save people in Türkiye (Turkey) and Syria who are trapped beneath the rubble, and get shelter and support to those who have lost their homes or are afraid to return inside.

In light of this, we have made the decision to set up this Just Giving Page to support the British Red Cross. who are helping with the rescue and supporting the people through this disaster. We will match fund every £1 given with another £1, up to a combined sum of £10,000.
