Belfast City Half Marathon · 23 September 2018
Poor mental health affects more people every year than cancer or heart disease - every year, one in four people across the UK and Ireland are affected by a mental health problem. In every working day, two construction workers take their own lives. This year, Lagan Aviation & Infrastructure are looking at ways to improve the support that we provide to all our staff in aims to ensure positive mental health throughout our offices and sites. We are working with the four founding member organisations of Mental Health UK (Rethink Mental Illness, Support in Mind Scotland, Hafal and Mindwise) to equip our managers and staff to support each other on this journey.
Lagan Aviation & Infrastructure are proud to adopt Mental Health UK as our charity for the year to raise funds for them so that they can continue to improve the lives of people with mental illness, and support carers. For our first fund-raising event, a group of us will run the Belfast City Half Marathon on 23rd September 2018.
Please support this great cause by donating to Mental Health UK via this page. Our runners appreciate any amount and encouragement that you can offer!
