Story
We are a group of children from Ladybird Class at an infant school in Canterbury and we are taking part in a sponsored scoot, walk or cycle from Canterbury to Chartham (4 miles) to raise money for Kent Giving Week.
Money raised during this week will fund exercise classes for people living with Parkinson’s in Kent and further afield as part of the many therapies to be offered at the new Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy. www.kent.ac.uk/parkinsons
A number of our team have family members or friends who have Parkinson’s and we are doing this challenge on Sunday 8th May in their honour.
We are only in Foundation Stage so this is a huge challenge for us. Please sponsor us!

Thousands of people live with Parkinsons in the UK but for many, the right treatment is out of reach. The University of Kent is determined to change that and need your help to establish the UK's first integrated therapy centre offering comprehensive support to those that need it most, while advocating for new treatments that could give hope to so many worldwide. Please consider helping to make this a reality by sponsoring us!
