Story

💜 Ladies of Lockdown 💜 In the run-up to Christmas, I will be creating female watercolour portraits of your loved ones in exchange for donations towards Women’s Aid, to raise awareness around domestic abuse.

The finished pieces will be approx. A5 size on A4 craft paper, perfect for framing or gifting and will be posted to an address of your choice!

Ladies could be: a good friend, partner, family member or celeb and would make a lovely gift for Christmas or as a surprise pick me up 🤗

💌 Inbox me on instagram if you would like one, @jenny_wake

I am asking for a guided donation of £5-10 per portrait

My goal is to raise £150 by Christmas, this would help x2 women escape domestic abuse and give them the support they need to rebuild their lives.

------------------------

Domestic abuse and controlling behaviour doesn’t stop during lockdown. Infact, since March, the rise of domestic abuse has been staggering and has left services overwhelmed.

Reminder: At home shouldn’t mean at risk. If you or someone you know is suffering from #DomesticAbuse, lockdown or isolation rules do not apply. Services remain available. Find support at gov.uk/domestic-abuse #YouAreNotAlone
