We're a bunch of people all luvin' the pedalling. Either for fun, for pain, for goals, or for coffees. Quite the international team of 22 people from all over the world: Norway 🇳🇴, USA 🇺🇸, England 🏴, Scotland 🏴, India 🇮🇳, Ireland 🇮🇪, Greece 🇬🇷, Switzerland 🇨🇭, and possibly some more.
This year we're all teaming up on June 18th to cycle the 54-mile epic BHF-organised ride cycling from city to coast, London to Brighton.
We all have various reasons for doing it, either for charitable or personal reasons. Such as the Team Captain who was told that his heart will stop in about 6 years unless he started training, and that no, golf was not good enough - more intensity was needed.
On a more personal note, my father suffered a major heart attack almost 30 years ago. The after care and medical attention he has received since then has been nothing short of sensational. I have no doubt that charities such as the BHF have been a major contributing factor to his longevity since his attack.
I'm joining thousands of others on June 18th, all cycling the 54-mile epic city to coast route from London to Brighton for the BHF. The BHF fund around £100 million of research each year into all heart and circulatory diseases and the things that cause them. Heart diseases. Stroke. Vascular dementia. Diabetes. They're all connected, and they're all under their microscope.Thousands of people every year are helped through the research the BHF do. Research funded by everyday people, like me and you. Every donation you make to this page helps fund scientific breakthroughs. Please support my journey fundraising for the BHF and help turn science fiction into reality.
