Story

Thank you for choosing to join #TeamAutism at the New York Marathon 2023. The money you raise will transform lives, change attitudes and help us to work towards a society that works for autistic people.

Hello all

I’m delighted to announce that I’ll be running the New York City Marathon on the 5th November this year with a place via the National Autistic Society.

Many of you know my son Harrison has Autism Spectrum disorder which he was diagnosed relatively young so life can be a challenge but wouldn’t change him for nothing, only after having a child with autism do you really pay much attention to it and how hard life can be for kids and and parents looking after people living with it on all levels of the spectrum. Year by year we’re learning more and more about it, and then year on year kids change so it’s a constant battle and constant learning.

Hopefully running this race and raising this money goes a long way to raising awareness and funds to help the good work the NAS do.

Any contribution little or large is great fully appreciated by myself my family and everyone this charity helps. 💙🦁
