Story
Hi.
For some reason, just lately I've been really enjoying my running as part of my drive to stay well after my (ongoing) battle with mental health. I've always wanted to complete a whole marathon, but those of you who know me well will know that I have an upward battle if I'm going to do it. So I'm starting with a half marathon, and I'll see how it goes.
Andrew Wallis MBE is a good friend of mine, and is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the charity Veteran's Aid. They provide temporary cheap housing to help ex-service people get back on their feet after hard times. It's an amazing cause, and I'd like my run to raise maybe a hundred or so pounds, so that it means something other than just my satisfaction of actually doing it. Provided I actually manage it. Watch this space - I'll keep you posted. Oh, and THANK YOU.
Lee.
