Story

TRAC Take to the Dance-Floor!

The team at TRAC aim to raise as much money as possible for the worthy charity that is Bury Hospice by participating in this year's 'Strictly Best Foot Forward'. Phil Cooke maintains that an Iron Man Competition or such like would have been too easy a pursuit for him to undertake and has instead offered himself to the dancefloor...

Background:

Louise: When my mum entered Bury hospice in 2010, it was a shock. Her cancer diagnosis was very sudden. Diagnosed with late Stage 4  cancer, our family had to process the awful reality that she would pass away quite soon. During this time,  Bury Hospice provided a safe refuge for  all of us, they provided expert care for my mum and helped us to deal with the changes in our lives.

We are dancing for relatives we hope to meet again one day, and for relatives who are currently on their own journeys and treatments.

Please give generously and share widely...please have a good laugh in the process!!!

It costs £3.5million pounds to run Bury Hospice, and as a charity we have to raise £3 million through community support. Every donation makes a difference.£10 - COULD PAY FOR A PATIENTS EVENING MEAL£25 - COULD PAY FOR AN BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT SESSION£50 - COULD PAY FOR A HOME VISIT BY OUR COMMUNITY OUTREACH TEAM£75 - COULD PAY FOR A NURSE FOR HALF A DAY£150 - COULD PAY FOR A NURSE FOR A DAY£450 - COULD PAY FOR A BED FOR A DAY
