Story
My nephew Bobby hasn't had the best start in life, at 4 weeks old he was diagnosed with a rare liver disease called Biliary Atresia, which is when the bile ducts in the liver become inflamed causing the liver to be scarred, usually resulting in a liver transplant later on in life. At 5 weeks old he underwent a life saving operation called a kasai which is done to try and prolong the life of the liver and promote the bile to flow again, unfortunately my sister Demi and her partner Kieran have recently been informed that the operation had failed and Bobby will need a liver transplant asap.
There are so many charity's that have helped them, whether it be support, a place to stay when Bobbys in hospital or the actual hospital that specialises in Bobbys condition. I wanted to do something to help Demi, Kieran and Bobby so I thought I would do something to get sponsors for them to send money to a certain charity. Iv decided to shave off my beloved beard for The Childrens Liver Disease Foundation, anyone that knows me knows that this is a huge thing for me, so please get your penny's out and sponsor me, any amount will help and it will all be going to a great cause. I will be having it shaved off on the 9th February which will be exactly 4 months after Bobby had his first operation.
Donations on my just giving page go directly to CLDF, thanks in advance :)
