Story
As a cat lover all my life, I feel a great sense of pride that I will be taking part in this trek for Cats Protection.
My husband and I are guardians of two rescue moggies, Nugget and Lulu. Lulu was a stray, living off scraps on a KFC carpark. She wasn't chipped and after taking her to a Vets to get checked over, we were told she may be early stage pregnancy! Cats Protection came to our assistance and helped to fund the cost of getting her spayed.
The trek will be challenging, covering 46 km, through three countries in just 3 days - France, Italy and Switzerland!
I know this trek won't be a 'walk in the park'. It will certainly challenge me both physically and mentally! But the rewards are not only the pleasure of seeing the most spectacular views - but I'll also get to raise awareness and vital funds for this amazing charity.
Cats Protection is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity. Their vision is a world where every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs.
Cats Protection has simple and clear objectives to help cats: Homing - Finding good homes for cats in need. Neutering - Supporting and encouraging the neutering of cats. Information - Improving people’s understanding of cats and their care.
Achieving this vision is only made possible due to kind cat lovers who support their work.
Please sponsor me for my trek, so that I can help Cats Protection help other moggies like Nugget and Lulu!
