Each year, hundreds of young people make the decision to commit to a year or two of service with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. Send Me to Serve (SMTS) provides the opportunity for Jesuit Volunteers (JVs) to share their decision with friends and family!

Story

This Fall I am going to be a Jesuit Volunteer (JV) at Friendship Park at Sacramento Loaves & Fishes. I am so excited for the opportunity to work with Sacramento's homeless community and aid in hunger relief through the Friendship Park program. Thank you so much for taking some time to learn more about JVC, I cannot wait for my journey to begin!
