I have decided  to fundraise money for The Royal British legion by running the ABP southampton marathon. This is a charity that is close to my heart with me coming from a military family and I would like to run the marathon in memory of my grandad Robert William hallibone who served 12 years in the Army as a corporal serving in the Royal Corps of transport. Tragically my grandad passed away in 2013 of COPD.  The Royal British legion charity was close to his heart with him often making donations to the charity I feel that the charity are fantastic as they don't just help current veterans but look to help their families and veterans who have previously served in the  British armed Forces.
