Story
A bit about me,
I found my out I had a problem with my kidneys when I applied for the Army, I was just 16/17 years old.
When I was 19 I had a biopsy on my kidney. 16 months later I was getting rushed in to have the line put in for dialysis. I was lucky to have only spent 8 months on dialysis as my dad lost over 4 stone to be able to give me one of his kidneys so I am forever thankful.
Since my transplant in December 2011 I have done so many amazing things from traveling South East Asia to Playing for the Wales Transplant Team. Fundraising from 10k runs to Climbing Kilimanjaro.
Lockdown gave me a couple of set back piling on the weight and getting myself into a rut.
The call from the Welsh Transplant team Coach made me want to change my life style and become more fitter and lose the weight That I gained during Covid.
I’m so happy to be back in the Welsh team playing football and having a go at other things
