In 2014 my Dad was diagnosed with Lymphoma. After six months of treatment he is making good progress but I would like to help raise as much money as possible for research especially having also lost a close friend in 2014 to Lymphoma. Recently four friends and family of mine have passed away with cancer related illnesses and this effort will be in memory of all of them and especially for Lymphoma research. 

I am attempting the half-ironman distance triathlon on Sunday 14th June - a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile cycle and 13.1 mile run in less than 8 1/2 hours. The training hasn't gone as well as it might have done but it will help me to get around knowing that I am raising money for a good cause.
