Campaign by Save the Children (RCN England and Wales (213890) Scotland (SC039570))
The crisis in Afghanistan has been called the worst humanitarian crisis on earth. As a member of the Disasters Emergency Committee, we've joined forces with 14 leading aid charities to help children and families in Afghanistan cope through the winter

Story

I have a few charities close to my heart and especially feel
a big urge to help fundraise for the Afghanistan crisis.  Stories of girls and babies being forced to
marry or sold just break my heart.   There is no solution in sight and without food they cannot rebuild their lives, let alone educate girls.  £30 will buy food for a family for two weeks.

The Engadin cross-coutry skimarathon is the second largest
in the world and takes place on 13th March.  14,000 cross-country skiers from over 65 nations will take part.  I only picked up the sport this season so am extremely nervous about the event.  When I went to Jura last month for training, my poor body was falling apart!   I don’t
know how long it will take me, but I am determined to cross the finishing line!  I am lucky to do this with the team Hugo and my friends, Coral and Fenella.  Thank you for your support!!
