Story
As part of its 110th birthday celebrations, Kuits is entering its biggest ever team for the Great Manchester Run 10k in May. A bumper team of
of 26 (a-hem) athletes are running to raise money for Wood Street Mission.
Wood Street Mission is a children’s charity helping children and families living on a low income in Manchester and Salford. Celebrating their 150th anniversary this year, they provide practical help to meet children’s day-to-day needs and improve their life chances, including clothes, bedding and baby equipment, toys and books, the costs of going to school, and holiday book clubs.
They also raise awareness about child poverty through communications, holding events and giving talks at schools, businesses and groups.
The charity helps thousands of children and their families every year, and all services are free for families to access on referral.
