As-salamu alaykum, 

Our names are Khadijah, Siddika and Tasneem. We are raising money to provide a solar water well in Afghanistan with Al-Khair Foundation.

During Ramadan we become more conscious of the difficulties faced by those without access to safe water. Less than half of the population in Afghanistan have access to safe and clean drinking water due to lack of resources and inadequate infrastructure. 

For £1800, a solar well can provide a clean, safe and sustainable water source to those affected.

The Prophet (saw) said: "Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfil his needs'. [Bukhari]

Alhumdullilah, being able to access clean water is a blessing and a privilege which we so often take for granted. Please find it in your hearts to help our brothers and sisters in their time of need. May Allah (SWT) accept all of our efforts and bring ease to all those suffering, Aameen.
