Story
Many if you have donated, seen all of my post and been a part of many of my Africa trips! One thing that will get me every time is to see my adopted (sponsored) kids homes. You will never unsee the conditions they sleep in and raise their families in. I then got to witness a new home being built for another family, nice little home, with cement floors, a couple bedrooms and when I asked how much, they said only $5,000. YOU GUYS, ONLY 5,000.
But what I love most about God is that when I called Katina with Advocates for Africa to tell her we wanted to do this, and it so happened there was a donor who is donating $2500 and this person agreed for it to go towards one of my kids homes!!! 😭🙌🏼🙏🏽
So now all that is left is $2500 and this family can move out of the storage building where they rent a corner out of it. People are in and out all hours of the day/night and we hear It’s not a safe situation for the family, but it’s all they can afford and barely have any food due to needing to pay rent…😭 (which is why we have chosen for this family to build for first, next will be my boy Bless 🙏🏽)
Their new home will be built very close to the Advocates Christian Academy, where Manzi Danton attends, and I truly believe this is gonna give them hope, show them God still is on their side and change their future for the whole family! 🙌🏼
Side note: this is a tax write off doing it through Advocates but if you would rather cash app, Venmo or Apple Pay me that will work too!!!!
