Story
"Kristin, you have Endometriosis." This statement forever changed my life. At 30 years old I finally had answers to so many questions that I had for why I was feeling "this way" for YEARS. From that day, I have been on a journey to try to better understand how Endo impacts my body, mind, and lifestyle. The hardest part is that SO MANY people do not know about Endo.
As a member of Team EndoFound, I am taking to the streets on a mission to End Endo. Endometriosis is an extremely painful condition that affects an estimated 200 million people worldwide. It can impact all aspects of lifeschool, career, finances, relationships, and overall well-being. 1 out of 10 women* suffer in the United States, however many remain undiagnosed. Your support will adapt endometriosis education to online learning, fund landmark research on treatment and diagnosis, advocate for endometriosis education, and promote disease recognition in our communities.Endometriosis care has been critically affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Individuals with endometriosis need your help now more than ever. Learn more at endofound.org.*Our definition of "women" includes transgender, genderqueer, and non-binary individuals.
