In December 2012 Matt’s mum was diagnosed with cancer and is currently on the road to fighting it (and doing well). She is the inspiration behind the run. Along with sad news that his cousin Claire Gallacher also developed it, Matt wanted to do something special to support them. John and I also wanted to show our support both for Matt and his family.  We wish to raise £1000 between us all so that we can donate the substantial amount to a much needed cause that we all feel passionately about. As most of you will either be affected or know someone who already has or will be, we urge and want you to help us. A lot of effort from all three of us has gone into preparing for this as it is the biggest task any of us have attempted. Any donations big or small will be very much appreciated and will go to an amazing cause.
