Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page to raise funds for the Northern Oesophago Gastric Cancer Fund.

Oesophageal and Gastric are the fifth commonest cause of cancer deaths in the UK.  The Northern Region of England and Scotland has the highest incidences of these cancers in Europe.  The Northern Oesophago-Gastric unit was developed to treat patients with these cancers. 

When Kristian's Dad was diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus in the summer of 2009 we were devastated.  He was treated on the unit in autumn 2009 and is doing well.  We would like to give something back and hope to raise money as well as awareness.
