Giving Animals a new leash on life!
This event helps Humane Society for Greater Nashua raise crucial funds which benefit animals awaiting adoption in our community as well as those who adopt them.
In 2021, there were 296 stray animals brought into the shelter as well as 158 owner-surrendered animals. They also saved 217 animals from high-kill shelters in the south (Bailey is a southern dog). As you can imagine, many of these animals require behavioral, medical assessment, and/or medical care and training. HSFN is more than an adoption facility, it is also a training and wellness organization for both human and nonhumans. Our fundraising efforts provide vital care to both.
We are thankful to those who choose to donate to the Walk For Whiskers event and why it means so much to us to be able to help!
