For my 21st birthday this year, instead of presents and cards, I asked my friends and family to consider donating to Little Princess Trust.
Little Princess Trust's mission is simple yet incredibly important - have you ever felt shy, uncomfortable or like you're lacking confidence when you're having a "bad hair day"? Losing your hair can be so damaging to a person's self-esteem, which is the last thing that should be on your mind when you are undergoing powerful treatments against cancer and other illnesses. Little Princess Trust helps young women and girls regain their confidence and sense of self by supplying real-hair wigs to children and young people up to the age of 24 who have lost their hair to illness, completely free of charge.
This week, I cut almost 14 inches of hair and my sister cut 8 inches to donate to the charity. We did it because it was important to us, but it would mean the world to us if you could donate to make our efforts feel even more worthwhile
