Story

The Biggest bike ride in the world!

If you can, I would appreciate any sponsorship you can provide for my forthcoming cycle event in Sweden. I will be fundraising for Cyclists Fighting Cancer, a charity that supports children, young people and their families that have been affected by cancer.

The swedish bike ride Vatternrundan is the largest recreational bicycle ride in the world. the 300km (186 Mile) course encircles the beautiful lake Vattern and provides the opportunity to see the sun set and rise over the lake during the ride. Vatternrundan starts and finishes in the town of Motala, which celebrates the bike ride with festivities that draw large crowds (hopefully a few will still be around when I finish).

Clearly the ride itself is a fantastic challenge. To have a realistic chance of completion I have endured approximately 1500km on the saddle in training for the event, no amount of padding protects against the discomfort.

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cyclists Fighting Cancer gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
