We provide vital critical medical care to the people of Wiltshire, Bath and beyond

Story

After completing the UK IronMan Triathlon in 2019 and France in 2021, this will be my third event of the same name and format and this year's charity is the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

In April of this year my Personal Trainer and good friend Simon Bennett suffered a Cardiac Arrest whilst training. The swift response of those in attendance and the Wiltshire Air Ambulance ensured that he's still with us today.

The event is in Taupo on New Zealand's North Island on Saturday 10th December 2022. The race begins with a 1.2-mile swim in Lake Taupo followed by 56-mile bike and then a half marathon.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a charity that provides an essential Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) across Wiltshire, Bath and surrounding areas. It needs to raise £4m a year to continue saving lives but is not directly funded by the Government and receives no National Lottery funding, so relies on generous public donations.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
