She finally Tangled it
Fundraising for Little Princess Trust
Story
Have you ever watched the Disney film "Tangled"? It's a personal favourite of mine. It's a 2010 Disney animation of a classic tale: Rapunzel. If you haven't watched it then please do later! But first I want to tell you my tale...
Ladies, I would say we all identify ourselves with one princess at some age... "You're never too old for Disney." From a young age, I always wanted to be blessed with long golden hair like Rapunzel. As a baby, I was this little short haired blondie but as I entered the teen years, my hair only got darker and thicker. I remember promising myself that one day I would grow my hair out - even if it took the rest of my life to complete it. I didn't want to give up my promise. So, this is where my hair journey began...
Do you remember watching JessieJ donate her hair back in 2010? I was a big fan of hers at the time and I wanted to donate my hair, like her but not at her extent; unfortunately my hair wasn't in the best condition and wasn't long enough for donation. Not long after a holiday in 2013, my hair had sudden a growth spurt. To this day, I always say it was the magic fromTenerife sea. I was starting feeling like Rapunzel with how it was almost reaching to my waist. I began to really look after and appreciate my hair.
Now wouldn't it be cool if I could tell you that I have magic hair that glows when I sing too?! Well, my hair isn't as cool as Rapunzel but it still has a power. Since now I have completed my childhood promise at the age of 16, I want to feel like Rapunzel one more time and use the power of my hair. I'm going to donate 50cm+ of my hair at a local hair salon (Evolution Hair and Beauty Salon) on the 20th of August 2018 because I want to help another little girl or young lady experience the same powering feeling of being a secret princess. Like Rapunzel says "Venture outside your comfort zone. The rewards are worth it."
My fundraising goal is to reach at least £1000! I will be soon uploading on my YouTube Channel: 'Kay Proctor', to share my journey of how I finallyTangled it. Please share this and share my story! Any donations is much appreciated! Thank you for donating!
