Story
On the 6th of October, I will be taking to the ring at the Hilton to take part in the Charity Boxing Night 2018.
I have been training in an intense boxing camp in preparation for this and I have never taken on such a challenge before. I will admit, the thought of having my face boxed in front of a crowd is pretty nerve wracking yet exciting at the same time, but I remember why the whole team are doing this and thinking of the young lives we all can help by partaking keeps me motivated. Even you can partake just by donating, even if its £1, every penny will be helping many young lives.
More about the charity:
The Manchester Foundation Trust Charity supports nine hospitals across Manchester, including Saint Mary's Hospital and Royal Manchester Children's Hospital treating babies, children and young people from across the North West and beyond.
Charity Boxing Night has supported the charity for the last three years, raising just under £100,000 in that short time. This year, it's going to be bigger and better.
Every donation will help the youngest of babies and children who receive the most incredible care each and every day. Every penny donated will help support the excellence of care, treatment and research we are so lucky to have in Manchester.
