Story
It's not over yet.
I STILL WANT YOUR MONEY!!
Diabetes UK have been funding research into the illness for many years and believe they have found the gene that causes type 2 diabetes. This may lead to a cure for insulin dependent diabetes too so every penny we raise is helping.
So far we have raised over £1800. Can we make it to a phenomenal £2000? With one final big push we can so please send this on to everyone in your address book and ask them to pass it on too. Ask them to donate anything they can. We can be the ones who finally helped stop diabetes blighting millions of lives. We only need another £200 to make to make a difference.
On Sunday April 22nd 2007 I actually took part in and completed the London Marathon. It took me 8 hours which was really disappointing but despite the pain, aches and doubts I finished and got that coveted medal. Think about this. The worlds best athletes run for 2, maybe 3 hours. I was out there for 8. And they think they are fit? Huh!
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Diabetes UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support
