We are running the marathon to raise money for the Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Foundation.  This phenomenal organization raises funds for research and medical education to prevent breast cancer and improve treatment and survivorship for individuals diagnosed with breast cancer. Investments are directed locally within the Chicago area, but drive impact globally. A 501(c)(3) non-profit supporting promising, young researchers at Chicago institutions, The Foundation focuses its funding where it can have the greatest impact. The Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Foundation was founded in honor of a mother and friend who tragically lost her battle to breast cancer at the age 39. 

As mothers and friends ourselves, we hope we never hear another story like Lynn's.  Our goal is to contribute in some small way to Lynn Sage's efforts to eradicate this terrible disease.

A member of the Board, Kristin joined Team Lynn Sage 2021 as part of her ongoing commitment to the Foundation's mission, which is near and dear to her heart. After an extraordinary pandemic year, Kristin feels fortunate to be able to run the 2021 Chicago Marathon and raise funds to further research for breast cancer prevention and treatment.

Jenny has supported Lynn Sage for years through several friends and family members who are on the Board and whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer.  A long-time runner but first-time marathoner, Jenny is thrilled to participate in the 2021 marathon in an effort to raise awareness about the disease, support Lynn Sage.
