Story

Sarah is an amazing friend, mother, wife daughter, sister...who lost her brave fight to breast cancer earlier this year. She is an incredibly positive woman, who touched the lives of many in her beautiful, inspiring way. Sarah was full of life, love and energy and has a permanent place in my heart.

Several years ago, Sarah was inspired by Watoto Children's Choir. She wanted to support a community who were doing so much for themselves by helping to build facilities for the orphanages that Watoto run for children of Africa, the victims of disease, war and violence. Sarah's Spirit was set up to honour Sarah's life and ambition, and to build hope for children who have nothing.

Although we are miles away (in New Zealand) we are not to far to support Sarah and her family in their quest to continue Sarah's goal. We are embarking on a wet muddy, slimy bush bashing obstacle run, where the kids will likely be helping their old mum over the hurdles and through the bogs. Please support us to support Sarah's Spirit to support the children of Watoto.
