We are the UK’s leading charity fighting to ensure a better future for young minds

Story

In January, like many, we as a family decided to improve our fitness. Kai and myself (Mum) have been completing couch to 5k every week so far and have began to enjoy our runs together.

As we hit a new month, Kai wanted to challenge himself (even more 😳) and whilst discussing this, he came up with the fantastic idea to try and raise some money whilst doing so.

Kai has set himself the challenge of completing 100KM (62 miles)by either walking, running or cycling in the month of February.

He has researched charities himself, and although this was a tough decision as there are so many deserving causes, he decided he wanted to be able to help other children that may be struggling.

Kai will be raising money for 'Young Minds' which is a charity who aim to help young people with their mental health. Something that is so important more now than ever!

Please do have a look at what they as a charity do; https://youngminds.org.uk/about-us/who-we-are/#our-purpose.

We will be recording all Kai's daily activity and would be extremely grateful for any support in his aim to raising some money along the way.
