Story
Hey guys! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Sunday 1st October 2017 I will be taking part in The Palace to Palace bike ride with Team Oracle raising money for The Prince's Trust. The Palace to Palace is a cycling event with an iconic route that takes in the sights of Buckingham Palace, before cycling through Richmond Park and the beautiful Surrey countryside towards the finish line alongside Windsor Castle.
As lovely and relaxing the above sounds I have actually opted to take on the Ultra course route, a challenging 90-miler which is likely to be strenuous and quite possibly cause a lot of chaffing but hey-ho it's all for a great cause! So please spare me a thought or even better make my efforts worthwhile by donating generously.
If my pain isn't enough motive for you to donate then at least help us beat last year's total, Team Oracle raised an amazing £35,000 for the charity in 2016 and I would like to see us do even better this year. This is a brilliant team event and more importantly a great opportunity to raise vital funds to support the tens of thousands of young people that the trust helps every year. So please please please donate!
From a personal perspective, the next 2-3 months is likely to involve a lot of hard work training on my bike - racking up a lot of mileage, going to the gym to improve my cardio/strength and eating/sleeping well. It will certainly be a big personal achievement for me to complete the route but even a bigger achievement if I am able to raise over my target of £240 for the trust.

Many thanks for visiting my page and thank you to those that have donated,
Kit
