April is the time for new beginnings. This April brings a sense of hope especially, during a worrying year of sadness and anxieties. We have lost many friends, neighbours and Sing in the City members and now it's a time to remember them as we raise money.

A Daunder is a stroll in Scotland, therefore anyone can take part in this.  We are setting ourselves an individual challenge to Daunder as far as we can the month of April and get people to sponsor us as we do it.  It Could be a 3k run, it could be the Race for Life 5k, it could simply be a Daunder around your living room in your wheel chair but make sure you mention who you are daundering for.

The Hanley and the Baird single Follow the Rainbows already raised over £500 for SAMH. We released the single on the 24th April 2020 so it's our anniversary and for  the month of April any downloads of the song will go to Cancer research instead of the Sing in the City Dreampot, downloads are only 99p so cheaper than just giving.  Donate anything at all if you don't want to.  This is about working together and having a productive APRIL https://music.apple.com/gb/album/follow-the-rainbows/1509447221?i=1509447224

All our SitC classes this month will relate to spring, daundering or the return of the Sing in the City anthem Follow the Rainbows.

It's the taking part, the community spirit and our team game attitude that has got us this far.  We have raised over £11k during this pandemic and over £139k.
