Story

Mark Steward, synonymous with Max Associates, the company he started 22 years ago.

For the last 22 years he quarrelled with leisure operators, lawyers, architects, and more worryingly with most of our clients! But all the while wanting to get the best leisure centres for the best price! It is unlikely that he hasn’t been involved in some way with your leisure centre, wherever it is across the country.

Mark grew the company over the last 22 years to create an amazing team, it has a tremendous reputation, it is a great place to work.

In March 2020, Mark was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease (MND) and after battling for 3 half years Mark sadly passed away in June 2023

In memory of Mark and to continue to raise awareness of MND, Kirsty, Lisa, Nicky, Greg and Claire from Max Associates’ with support from Kirsty’s husband Lee, are taking on a challenge to raise money for MNDA.

We are walking 50 km (in one day!) along the Thames Path from Runnymede to Henley on Sunday 10th September.

The charity focuses on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, so in the future other families will not have to go through the challenges Mark, Bridget and the kids have faced.

Please support us, to help find a cure for this terrible disease.

Thank you
