Cancer affects EACH and EVERY one of us. 1 in 2 people will get a diagnosis in our lifetime.

Back in 2012 I 'jeffed' my first race for life with my cousin in support of my Aunt who had Parathyroid cancer. This is a very rare cancer where more research is needed. My aunt sadly lost her battle in 2013 at the age of 52. I have fundraised every year since.

There are over 200 types of cancer including rare forms such as parathyroid cancer. Rare cancers make up more than 20% of all cancer cases. CRUK are the only charity to fund research into all cancer types.
